The 2nd sale of the Cape winter season was extremely strong considering the very large offering of nearly 194,000kgs. The clearance was 97% with a stronger market across all types. The Basuto sale also finished on a strong tone, with prices rising approximately 2% across all types. This was also on the back of a 35% rise for the first 2 auctions. Mohair seems to be in strong demand and coming back into fashion.

Young Goats Up 4%
Adults Up 2-3%
