 The 5th auction of 2026 saw 162 Tons on offer of which 95% was sold. Despite the ongoing tension in the middle east, the market reacted well, seeing a good clearance and strong bidding in the sale. Although the market eased in RAND, USD was stable due to the stronger Rand.

 

Compared to the last auction:

Kids –2-3% dearer in USD terms

Young Goats – Firm in USD terms

Adults – Firm to easier in USD terms

 

The next auction will be held on 12th May 2026.
