The 1st sale of the Cape winter season opened on a fairly positive note with  155 Tons offered, following the 2 extremely strong opening Basuto Sales. While Basutos experienced extreme demand with prices rising up to 30% over 2 sales across all types, the Cape auction saw a good clearance of 87%, with Kid prices slightly dearer and coarse adult types up to 3% easier.

 

The next auction will be held 9th September 2025.
