The 3rd auction of 2026 saw extreme bidding and the market was up again in SAR and in USD terms with 99% of the 168 Tons available sold. There was strong competition for all types of Mohair, following rises in most fibre markets. It shows there is keen demand across all sectors. Prompt stocks are low and forward orders are being booked on the back of orders being taken.

 

Compared to the last auction:

Kids – 5% dearer

Young Goats – 6% dearer

Adults – 3% dearer
